Soooo, I have the house that has the bunnies. I had five little girls in my yard today as soon as school was out.
I decided the boys needed to get out and move some as their cage is a bit cramped. They had the entire backyard at their disposal and boy howdy did they have a ball! However, they had to earn their freedom by being nice little bunnies who would tolerate little girls holding them and cuddling them. :oP
Pablo raced around, did a few binkies, and then just chilled in the grass.
Ron was a bit more adventurous, bouncing around here and there.
The boys did chase each other for a time, but, for the most part, they went their separate ways.
Pablo to chill.
And Ron to eat all my plants. ;o) He found my hostas, my peas and some dandelion leaves.
They seemed to have a marvelous time and I'm more than happy to let them out to run some more. Holly, however, has different ideas about that. She was desperate to get out with them--I'm not sure if it was to chase and eat them, or simply to play. I brought her out on a lead and let them sniff one another, and Pablo kept trying to charge her. It was fabulous! Ever seen a dog scared of an eensy bunny? :oP
The bunnies provided a welcome relief from the stress of the day. My relative has been moved to a hospice facility so the waiting begins. I've been worried about my family as the events of the day have played out.
I also had to have that little cavity filled this morning--not the best way to start the day. Ugh. I came home to find raisin bran all over the kitchen floor, a crayon bucket upended in the kitchen, a book basket dumped all over the living room floor, and bunny hay all over the laundry room.
Deciding I just didn't have the energy to tackle all that at the moment, I pulled on my workout clothes, strapped Ellie in the stroller and headed out for a bit of stress release.
Spring is here to stay. There are baby leaves all over the trees.
Grass is beginning to line the woodland paths.
And moss is greening. The walk this morning really did me some good. I came home in a better frame of mind, was able to do my strengthening exercises and face cleaning.
Tomorrow sees me doing laundry, mowing and cleaning the bathrooms and the upstairs. I'm off my weekly cleaning schedule since I was away from home the past couple of days. I look forward to getting back into the swing of things next week.

Sprarklies:
1. My relative getting the help she needs from Hospice. There is something amazing about hospice facilities--there is such a sense of peace and calm. I swear the place is filled with angels, and not just the ones who work there masquerading as nurses. :o)
2. The bunnies. Oh sweet mercy are the utterly adorable.
3. The girls (all five of them) and their joy and delight with the bunnies. Their faces were so filled with happiness it was a sight to behold.
4. Beanie's cold seems to be on the mend.
5. Beanie and I saw two adult cotton tails on our walk this morning.
6. Holly finally got a haircut (or scalping if you will--she wiggles a lot, what can I say?).
7. "Scramble with Friends". Holy smokes is that addictive!! I play with Jessie and while she mostly kicks my patootie all over the place, I manage a win here or there. If you like Boggle, you'll love this. My user name is mom2lid if you are on and want to play with me. :o)
No milestones.

Now K- wants a bunny. We told her that she can enjoy yours on the monitor.
What ran through my mind with bunnies is this-- can bunnies get fleas? Do you have to give them Frontline?
I'm so glad that your relative was able to get to Hospice. Truly, Hospice is a wonderful service. I wished that my grandmother had been able to be transferred to their facility instead of Hospice coming every 12 hours and training me to dispense Morphine on the in-betweens.
Hooray for kids who LOVE bunnies and the funny bunnies and their eating habits. What a fun Easter picture that will make!
Um, yeah. Sorry 'bout that. All the kiddos in the neighborhood now want them too. Their moms keep saying they can just enjoy them at MY house. ;o)
No clue about the fleas--I'll ask Doc B.
The bunnies are adorable. Reminds me of a bunny I had when I was young. His name was Jack Bunny.
Cute bunnies!!! They're so fluffy I'm gonna die!! I sure as shootin want to play with you, I will look you up.
I just sent you an email, but wanted to say hello here too. Praying for your family!!!!
LOVE the bunny pix! I had some with my dad when I was a kid- brought back good memories.
Rach, the photos of the bunnies are fabulous. They really thank you for putting on such a delicious salad bar in your garden. I think that was payment for being held and petted by the girls :-)
Aaargh on the filling... I hate dentists... absolutely hate them.. well not "them" per se, just what they do :-)
Glad Beanie is on the mend
I cannot agree with you more about Hospice facilities. I am so sorry that your family member needs one, but so glad that they are there to offer the peace and compassion at this time
Hugs

I think bunnies are great pets. My sister had one when we were growing up. I remember that it acted just like a dog. He'd sit and beg for treats and loved to have his ears scratched.
I play Words with Friends, Rach. Do you?? My id is dandyj...I just sent you a game!!
